Welcome to Part 2 of the Ultimate iPhone 4S Guide! Is your iPhone 4S stuck on the “Activation Required” screen? If your device has an IMEI starting with “99” (often CDMA models), it might refuse to activate whether you insert a SIM card or not.
In this episode, I will show you how to completely bypass this activation error using a free Windows tool called “ChickenA5”. This tool works perfectly for the iPhone 4S, iPad 2, and iPad 3 running iOS 8 or iOS 9! Important Note: This tutorial requires a Windows PC.
